5. How and where can I subscribe?

and click on subscribe at the top of the page. Just follow the instructions on your screen.

7. How do I upgrade my website account to a subscriber-account?
Accounts should be automatically upgraded after your subscription and payment have been processed
(within 2 days). If this is not the case you can follow the steps below:
Step 1:
- Make sure you are registered and logged-in.
Step 2:
- Click on ‘My Profile’, then on the left side on ‘Change personal information’. Enter your information into the
form that appears on your screen. When you have entered all of the information, click on ‘Change’.
Step 3:
- Now click on ‘Activate Account’ on the left side of your screen.
- The only empty field should be you membership number. Your membership number is SCI followed by a
space and 5 numbers. An example of a membership number is: SCI 12345. You can find this number on
your invoice. If you do not have your membership number readily available, leave this field empty and click
on: ‘Click here to request your membership number!’
Step 4:
- Your request is now being processed. Your information will be checked and you will receive a conformation
within 1-2 workdays about your account upgrade.
Step 5:
- You now have access to all subscriber features on our website.
8. Payment methods?
- Credit Card payments: Easiest and cheapest payment method currently available for SCI subscribers and
shoppers. We accept the following major credit cards: MasterCard, VISA, VISA Delta, VISA Purchasing and
Laser. We use WorldPay and PayPal for our secure online credit card payments.

Renewal Questions
11. What is a renewal?
A renewal is a continuation of your subscription for another term (1 year, 2 years, 3 years or 5 years depending
on the subscription duration you originally signed up for).
12. When do I renew?
You DO NOT need to renew your subscription without notice. If you paid for your subscription by credit card,
your subscription will automatically be renewed on the renewal date. If you paid for your subscription through
any other payment method you will receive a renewal invoice with your renewal instructions.
13. What is the renewal rate?
The renewal rate will be the same as your original subscription rate.
14. What is an automatic renewal?
An automatic renewal means we will automatically charge your credit card on the renewal date for the renewal
amount.
15. Where can I find my renewal date?
You can find your renewal date on the subscription confirmation letter we send you along with your first
e-magazine. Please keep this information sheet as it pertains valuable information on your subscription.
16. How can I cancel the automatic renewal?
Cancel in WorldPay: You can cancel the automatic renewal by logging into your WorldPay account and
canceling your agreement. Canceling your agreement does not cancel your subscription to SCI. You will be
contacted by us to renew your subscription manually (which means subscribing again).
* You need your WorldPay account login details to log into your WorldPay account.
Cancel in PayPal: You can cancel the automatic renewal by logging into your PayPal account and
canceling your subscription with PayPal. Canceling your agreement does not cancel your subscription to SCI.
You will be contacted by us to renew your subscription manually (which means subscribing again).
* You need your PayPal account login details to log into your PayPal account.
You can always email us with your automatic renewal cancellation and we will cancel it for you and you will
receive a confirmation from WorldPay or PayPal about the cancellation.
17. What name will appear on my credit card statement?
When you pay by credit card the name ‘Sportfacilities’ will appear on your statement. Sportfacilities (short for
Sportfacilities & Media BV) is SCI’s publishing company.
18. What is a renewal failure?
A renewal failure means that WorldPay or PayPal have tried to renew your subscription automatically by
charging your credit card, but they were unable to process the payment for us. This can have multiple reasons,
such as a credit card expiration or that there weren’t enough funds available.
19. What to do when a renewal has failed?
When you receive a notice from SCI, WorldPay or PayPal that your renewal payment has failed you can do 2
things:
- Update your credit card details in your WorldPay or PayPal account.
- Re-subscribe through our website and include ‘Renewal from SCI-_ _ _ _ _ ‘
(your subscription ID) to the comments box. We will then cancel your old subscription and the
corresponding credit card agreement in WorldPay or PayPal.

20. How and where can I register for the website?
In order to have limited access to www.soccercoachinginternational.com we recommend that you register for
the website, which is free. After registering you may participate in the discussion forum or react to news items.
Step 1:
- Go to www.soccercoachinginternational.com and click on ‘register’ at the top of the page.
- Fill out all information and click on ‘register’. Make sure your email address is entered correctly!
Step 2:
- You will receive (if you have entered the correct email address) an email within 1-5 minutes with a link.
Click once on the link.
Step 3:
- You will now receive another email with your username and password. Go back to the website and log-in
with the information provided in the email.
- You will receive a message that you have logged-in successfully and will see the following information on
the top of the page: Logged-in as
As a registered user you now have full user access to the site!
21. What is a guest?
A guest is someone who visits the website, but is unable to logon. Guest can browse through previous
e-magazine contents; participate in the poll, games and quizzes. Have access to all free features on our
homepage (exercises and articles).
22. What is a user?
A user is someone who has registered for the website, but who does not have a subscription to
SoccerCoachingInternational. These individuals will therefore not have access to the member areas of the
website, but will be able to participate and react on news, free articles, discussion topic, etc.
23. What is a subscriber?
A subscriber is someone who has a subscription to SoccerCoachingInternational. These individuals will receive
a subscriber account for free. Once the account has been activated a subscriber will have full access to the
entire website, including all member areas and coaching tools. Subscribers also receive a 7,5% discount on all
shop orders.
24. Forgot username and/or password?
Click on the ‘Forgot password’ link under login on the homepage or Click on Help and then on ‘Forgot
password’. Enter your email and you will receive an email from us with a link. Click on this link and you will
receive a second email with your new password.
25. Where can I find the SCI shop?
Go to www.soccercoachinginternational.com and click on shop at the top of the page. You will be
automatically redirected to the SCI Shop, where you can search for soccer coaching products, add them to
your shopping card and pay for them online.
26. When will I receive my shop order?
Shop orders are typically processed within 2-3 business days. Orders are shipped via TNT postal service in the
Netherlands. All orders are shipped by means of priority package shipping.

27. What is the newsletter?
The SCI Newsletter is send twice a month. Once a month you will receive a newsletter that will keep you
informed about all SoccerCoachingInternational news, global coaching news and you will receive free articles
and exercises through this newsletter. The other newsletter will keep you posted on new books and DVDs and
will provide you with special discounts on several of our shop products. You can subscribe to the newsletter by
clicking on the link ‘Newsletter’ at the top of the homepage. You can unsubscribe by following the instructions
at the bottom of every newsletter.
28. Why am I unable to access the Members area / Coaching tools?
These are subscriber only areas. If you are not a subscriber you will be unable to access these features. If you
are a subscriber, but you are unable to access these features, please upgrade your website account to a
subscribers account. You can do this by following the instructions listed at ‘How do I upgrade my website
account to a subscriber-account?’ below.
